The Virginia Tech Autism Clinic (VTAC), part of the Psychological Services Center (PSC) in the Psychology Department of Virginia Tech, opened in the Fall of 2005 to provide clinical services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families in the New River Valley. Our vision for this facility began in 2004, as the Virginia Tech Autism Research Group identified a need for improved access and quality of services for ASD families. The Center for Autism Research (CAR) was established in 2012 to promote multi-disciplinary research on the needs of people with autism, which informs implementation and access to evidence-based autism services. We invite you to explore our website and contact us with any questions or concerns. At VTAC and CAR, we are committed to merging science with service to provide better outcomes for those living with ASD.
