Youth Advocate | Yavapai County (YAP) is committed to providing outstanding service to our program participants, their families and guardians, and other individuals. Our mission is to bring racial equity to youth justice, child welfare and other YAP system partners, with a focus on the 70% of program participants who are Black and Brown. We strive to identify, address and eradicate racism and discrimination through regular program reviews, racialized trauma training and career development opportunities for our employees. YAP is dedicated to creating a safe, equitable and supportive environment for everyone we serve.
