At United Services, we understand the importance of early intervention and the critical period for language development in young children. We understand that it can be hard to tell when your child may need speech therapy. That’s why we have created a comprehensive guide to help you identify if your child could benefit from speech therapy. Our guide will provide you with the information you need to determine if your child needs to work on communication skills like responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing topics, using gestures, and understanding others’ body language. With our guide, you can be sure you are giving your child the best opportunity for success by helping them develop the necessary language and communication skills for a more independent and confident future.
At United Services, our speech therapists are dedicated to helping children communicate effectively with others in any environment. We can assist children with nonverbal skills, such as using signs or gestures, forming speech more clearly, communicating thoughts and feelings, understanding and responding to questions, discerning facial expressions and their corresponding emotions, noticing body language, and feeding and swallowing. Our speech therapists are also experienced in helping children who may be struggling with stuttering. We understand that an effective speech therapy plan can greatly improve a child’s communication skills, and we strive to provide the best possible care.
At United Services, we are proud to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to our clients. Our ABA therapy is rooted in the science of learning and behavior, and our goal is to help our clients reach their full potential. At United Services, we understand that deciding whether or not Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is right for your child is a big decision for your family. We want to ensure that you have all the information to make the best decision. Our guide will provide you with information on high quality ABA therapy that looks to help children learn and develop to their fullest potential while embracing their individual personality traits. Additionally, we provide guidance on how to start and end ABA therapy, and also watch out for ABA providers who look to “cure” autism. With United Services, you can make an informed decision about ABA therapy and be sure that you are getting the best care for your child.
At United Services, we understand that ABA therapy can be an expensive service. Luckily, insurance plans typically cover ABA services if there is an autism diagnosis. However, it is important to confirm that ABA is covered for your child’s diagnosis and that the provider you are seeking care from is in-network. To make the process easier, we have created a comprehensive guide to ABA therapy to help you understand all the costs and options. With United Services, you can rest assured that you are getting the best care for your child at a price you can afford.
